Great camera the Canon S1 IS

The camera produces some serious artifacts, chromatic aberations,
purple fringing, and moire. Even worse, there is no focus assist lamp
or flash shoe. If you condider this to be a "great" camera, then you
have probably never used an SLR. The shot, is pretty simple and IMHO,
stupid.

Just being honest.

Are you sure you were viewing the right image? It's a POTD so it was
probably showing a different one by the time you saw it. Here is a
